The next day.......

Is everyone as tired as I am? Do your feet ache? Is your house filled with toys that need to be opened and put together? Is your fridge full of food? Do you have gifts to return? This is my life today:) I started cooking at 2:30 pm yesterday and we did not eat until 8:45 pm. My timing with the food was way off but it was worth the wait. Everything was so delicious. We had a nice Christmas. I will post pictures baby this weekend. Today Im going to try and rest and recover from yesterday. Have a blessed day:))

Well I worked the day before Christmas until closing and the crowd was nuts....then I worked today at 6 am. On Christmas day, we had a nice relaxing day at Russell's parents house. I did not have to cook so that was kinda nice. Despite the working, I'm not tired at all.
I hope you get some rest.

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

A "White Elephant" gift exchange is a fun game where everyone brings an item from their house they no longer want or need. Something completely random. For example, an old tissue box, coffee mugs, books, etc. It makes it funny because people end up with the most random gifts. To start the gift exchange, everyone gets a number. Depending on the number of people you have. #1 starts, and so on. #2 has the opportunity to steal #1's gift or choose a new gift to open. Each gift can be stolen only twice. (So each gift can be in 3 hands) At the end, #1 has a chance to go again and steal from somebody if he/she doesn't like the gift they have. We added a twist to it and put a candy bar or candle in each gift. That way you can leave with at least something good! Does that make sense? It's a fun game and really doesn't cost anything because you're just getting rid of random things.

Have a great weekend!

Hey silly sista, I didn't hit the stop sign, I just drove through it without stopping. As for the easy bake oven, my girls had those when they were younger. They were used a few times and that was it cause it took about a half hour back then to make one bite sized cake. Maybe they cook faster now.
I'm tired now because yesterday I had to get up at 4 am to get ready for work and last night I got barely any sleep because there were tornado warnings and our weather alert radio kept going off and I was all alone, Russell was working. So I'm exhausted now.

I can pretty much say yes to all those things. We had a wonderful Christmas. It sounds like you did too. I am so happy your son decided to go to church with you recently. Have a great week, Dana.
