Avery update

I took Avery to the doctors yesterday and she tested positive for strep throat. So she is on penicillin. We cant attend church today because she is so contagious. Im fighting with my son because his thoughtless girlfriend let the feral cat out. I found her, she went back to the cubby hole where her brothers are. I will let her go on Thursday, she wants to be with her family and it is sad. They all miss each other. If anyone has a potato soup recipe I would sure appreciate it. i know there are alot of variations. I like the one with onions and celery. I have to deliver these cookies to a few people at church, I will have to leave Avery in the car:( just for a few minutes. I dont where my son went. Even though this child has strep throat she has not stopped talking even all night long she talked in her sleep. have a blessed Sunday!!!

I am so sorry to her about sweet Avery. You know if she has much fever she could talk out of her head at night. I had it very bad one time.I hope she gets well soon.

I hope that Avery feels better soon! I have a recipe for red potato soup on my website - you can add celery to it and it would likely be very good. It may not be what you are looking for, however....

I hope Avery gets to feeling better real soon.
I have a simple potato soup recipe. I don't measure anything I just dump everything into the pot. I dice potatoes and an onion, add some water to the pot, bring to a boil then I add a can of cream of celery soup and two boxes of frozen chopped broccoli, salt and pepper and then I fill the pot with milk and them simmer until done. I always serve cornbread muffins with it.

I hope Avery will be feeling well soon!! And that she reaches her cookie goal! I'd buy those 4 boxes if I was there!!

I dont have a recipe for potato soup. I just make it and cant explain how either. I like lots of onion and celery in mine too. We like to eat it with toast. yummmm...
