Friday already???

Goodmorning my ladies:)) It is 7:30 am and my animals are fed, my kitchen is clean and the kids are up and getting ready for school:) It is 41 degrees out, I dont think the weather mans snow prediction is going to happen. I guess we will have to wait and see. No one from the Girlscout office has called to cancel Ave's trip so I'm assuming it is still on. I must remember to take my camera, I will put it in my purse now so I dont forget. Do any other stay at home mom's have a hard time spending money on themselves? I am struggling with allowing $114 to spent on me for the weight loss pills. Whenever I talk about going shopping, Im buying stuff for the household, not for myself. Although yesterday I did buy myself some Chrismas presents, spending a total of $45, wow. Did I mention that we dio get to go to the Nutcracker Ballet after all. I thought we wouldn't make it because the Christmas show my daughter is in at the church is the same evening. I have been told that it will end at 7 and the ballet starts at 7:30 so we will make it.
I didn't finish all my shopping yesterday, I need to go back to Costco ( I love Costco) and buy Justin's beer. I also need to go back to Target and get Katie ( Ians g-friend) a cute snow hat I saw last night but wasn't sure she would like it. I took a picture, she likes it. Then to the Honey Baked Ham store to buy a ham for Christmas dinner. Thats it. I have to order a box of cigars for Justin off the internet. Gas is 1.62 so I will put 20 bucks in the tank, that will fill it:))
Im having no luck with a new tenant, the people that were supposed to show yesterday never showed up. I need to pray, is it okay to pray for something like that. Im thinking it is. Oh, I ran out of clothing boxes for wrapping presents and I refuse to buy anymore so I used cereal, fruit bars and lipton soup boxes to wrap with:)) Have a good day:))

Just a quick post:)

We woke up late and my day has been rushed. I had to drive Ian to school so he didn't miss the field trip to the college, then drop Ave off and hurry back home and shower then off to two doctors appointments for myself then off to the potluck/bible study with the ladies. Now I have an applicant for the apartment coming at 1:30. I need to get my housework done and today is payday so I get to finish my Christmas shopping:) Im off to clean, I hope your day is slower than mine:))))

Okay, now i miss him:(

I know I just saw him a week ago but it was only for 12 hours. 4 weeks had past and I got only 12 hours:( I have until December 24th til I see him again. I miss him. Sometimes just out of no where a sudden feeling of sadness and lonliness comes over me and I know Im just missing my Justin. I snuck a bible in his bag and he has been reading it every night. Praise Jesus. I know he believes in God but I want him to have a personal relationship with him like I am learning to do:) I know reading the word is a step in the right direction.
I kept myself busy yesterday. I went upstairs and did some touch up painting, I went to the hardware store and bought some new "For Rent" signs and put my number on the new signs and replaced the old signs with the new ones. I pulled out the lawn mower and attempted to mow the grass but I could not get it started so Justin will have to look at that when he comes home. My son helped me and that was nice. We rarely get anytime for just the two of us.
Katie's ( My sons girlfriend) , her mom is a cardiac nurse and on the side has started selling for this company called Advocare. They sale weight loss, herbal cleansing, skin, and energy boosting products. I talked with her last night on the phone about the best program for me so she put together a plan to fit what I want and what I can afford and she will be here this morning at 10am to give me some samples. I need a weight loss boost. Justin said he would only agree to pay the $114 a month if I stop eating cookies like I do:( So I think after Christmas I will start the program and stop the baking:) Im going to give it three months and if I see no improvement I will stop. I walked Ave to school this morning and will continue to do so. I quit smoking a few months ago and instantly put on ten pounds. I think my taste buds came to life:) Im excited and I hope it works:)

My dear friend Brenda presented me with this fabulous award!!! I am supposed to pass it on to 5 fabulous women and ask that they name 5 fabulous things they are addicted to:) And they are to do the same. I will name my picks and you may play along if you like. I cant pick only 5 so everyone that reads my blog, i present you with this award:) I know if you are reading mine, I am a faithful reader of your's. So you must be fabulous!!! So yesterday was so lonely:( I look forward to picking Ave up from school at 2:40 and she didn't come home until 5:15. I didnt know what to do with myself. So I went shopping but I cant afford to do that everyday:( Last night at the womens bible study I was reading and taking notes on the wrong chapter so when it was time for our discussion I had no idea what the ladies were talking about:) They let me talk about my notes because I am new. I love this group of ladies so much. Its a small group and I like that. My phone was ringing all day yesterday with people calling about this unit for rent, but no one came to see it. I need to pray for a nice quiet couple. Oh, the weather man is calling for snow this weekend. I hope he is right, If it snows my daughters camping trip is cancelled. They camp in a lodge but it is on a winding mountain road to the top and could be dangerous with snow. I need to figure out dinner tonight, maybe I will bake some cookies today. I ordered Justin a nice cigar lighter and a cigar cutter for Christmas, the package arrived last night and contained 2 lighters so I called the company this morning and his cutter will be here in 2 days. Ian's jacket I ordered arrived also last night. The tag says it cost $140, I ordered it on Black Friday and paid only $70:))) I will always shop on Black Friday, I bought Ave a $55 jacket for only $12.99. I love bargains. Justin calls me "Discount D.":))) He's funny, I miss him:( Okay Im done babbling, have a fun day!!!

Monday

Another week has past:) Does it seem like time is flying by? Christmas is approaching us so fast and a new year is right around the corner:) I dont want Christmas morning to be over in 15 minutes. I made the kids slow down last year and I think we stretched it to 30 minutes. I want it to last even longer. Any suggestions? I want my children to be grateful for the gifts they get and not think we are just obligated to buy them presents. I may have them each write a short essay telling what they are grateful for. I dont know, maybe thats a dumb idea. Help:)
Justin is already in Iowa, he will be back home on the 24th:) Today I need to go upstairs to the empty unit and clean the windows and make sure the place looks nice. The owner is leaving for Mexico today. The ad is in the newspaper for the rental. It has my phone number in the ad. A gentleman called yesterday but wanted a downstair unit. Avery starts the afterschool math tutoring program today. She wont be home until 5pm:) Avery is my child that never stops talking. I mean never, she even talks in her sleep. I think she even drives the animals crazy at times:) Have a happy day today:))

Sunday

Im so sleepy today:) After church I came home and put my ribs in the oven and started to make a potato salad then I rested for a bit. Im still very sleepy. Yesterday at the parade we walked for 2 miles and it took an hour and a half. It wasnt for me I didn't like the hundreds of people that lined the streets staring at me. Atleast I felt as though I was being stared at, Im sure I wasnt but none the less i didnt like it:) Mt little cat was accidently locked out all night and when I woke I heard her meowing at the door, the poor thing ran straight to her cat box and peed for the longest time. She didn't realize that she could pee outside and she held it all night. What a little lady! We are going back to the church this evening for evening worship and a Christmas cookie social:) Im tired and wouil rather stay in but Ave has her heart set on going. I need to finish my potato salad and do the dishes in the sink. I hope you all had a restful Sunday:) God Bless:)))

Yesterday when I went to check the mail I opened my box and inside was the magic key that opens the big box:) My Christmas swap package from Peggy has arrived:) I was so excited I rushed in the house and opened my box. It's fun recieving a gift from another state far away:)

Last night at family craft night we had a good time. I started talking to one of Averys classmates mom and she asked if I would be interested in watching her daughter for an hour after school 3 days a week next semester. The lady is in her last semester at the University and her daughter doesn't want to do the city daycare. I said absolutely, not a problem. She told me that some state program would pay me but I told her dont worry about it. Avery wont be here, she was invited to attend an afterschool math tutoring program. She starts that on Monday and it goes from right after school until 5pm and the bus will bring her home.

The parade is today and my neck still hurts and I have cramps. But the show must go on right?
